The therapy addresses mainly the Craniosacral System of the body, along with the Autonomic Nervous System, the Musculoskeletal system, the metabolism of the individual and all other fluid structures like blood and lymphatic circulation. CST is beneficial to the entire body and supports a range of disorders and restoring homeostasis of the nervous system. Due to its gentle nature it is received well by infants, children and the elderly. In the absence of a problem, a CST session is experienced as deeply relaxing and meditative, it rejuvenates the system, like taking a tonic to boost overall health.

Craniosacral therapy Session procedure
During the first Appointment the main expectations are to be discussed as well as the anamnese to be done.
The client is fully and comfortably dressed and is on the massage table, but can also do it while sitting on the chair if needed
Babies and children may stay on a special mat or can be treated in motion
The session for babies, children and senior people may last less than one hour
During the session itself the therapist accompanies the client verbally, but mostly the session is to be done in silence
The therapist applies 3-6 hand postures during the session
At the end there is always room and time for an integration of the process while the client is on the table as well during the after-treatment discussion
The number of appointments and frequency depends on the case (but its recommended to do min 3 session, in average 6, with an interval of 1-2 weeks between the treatments).
